Why Isles of Oviedo in Oviedo Florida is the Place to Live.

A few months ago the Crawford family was like many others in Central Florida, renting while they waited for the opportunity to buy a home. And then they discovered the Isles of Oviedo, a luxury townhome community with prices starting in the $150s.

"All the finishes and upgrades that are standard were very impressive," said Joe Crawford, who along with his wife Leslie and 2 small children chose a Lucinda model. "Our townhome has a huge kitchen with cabinets that wrap around, granite countertops and tile throughout - that was important to us because kids can ruin carpet in a few months."

The Crawfords, who shopped several other communities before choosing the Isles of Oviedo, also liked the Mediterranean concrete tile roof, 2-car garage and the spaciousness of the interior.

"We were on the fence about buying a single family home or a townhome," Joe said. "When we saw the finishes at the Isles of Oviedo, we were very happy. The high ceilings, the high doors, polished nickel door handles throughout, granite countertops and a tub and shower in the master bath."

Centerline Homes made the buying process easy as well, he said. Within 30 minutes the Crawfords were qualified and had all the details about the down payment, mortgage amount, taxes and insurance. Then they were referred to several lenders that ended up competing for their mortgage.

"They kind of fought over us for our mortgage and it worked in our favor," Joe said.

Deb Marton, Sales and Marketing Director for Centerline Homes, said the Crawford's experience is typical of the many buyers at Isles of Oviedo.

"Unless someone has shopped for a new home recently, they don't realize the huge opportunity they have right now," she said. "Interest rates are at historical lows, prices are exceptional and we have a great selection of townhomes available now at Isles of Oviedo, starting in the low $150s."

The gated community is located adjacent to the Oviedo Marketplace Mall, just 2 minutes from SR 417 - a location Crawford calls "laid back but convenient to just about any place" in metro Orlando.

To visit Isles of Oviedo, take SR 417 to the Red Bug Road exit (Exit 41). Go west for about 1/10-mile and turn right on Oviedo Market Place Boulevard. Follow the road around Oviedo Marketplace and the community is on the left.
