A few months ago the Crawford family was like many others in Central Florida, renting while they waited for the opportunity to buy a home. And then they discovered the Isles of Oviedo, a luxury townhome community with prices starting in the $150s.

"All the finishes and upgrades that are standard were very impressive," said Joe Crawford, who along with his wife Leslie and 2 small children chose a Lucinda model. Centerline Homes made the buying process easy as well, he said. Within 30 minutes the Crawfords were qualified and had all the details about the down payment, mortgage amount, taxes and insurance. Then they were referred to several lenders that ended up competing for their mortgage.

"They kind of fought over us for our mortgage and it worked in our favor," Joe said.
